Admission and Enrolment

General information

1. Admission is normally made on a first come, first served basis.
2. Students may assume that their applications have been accepted, and should attend the course as scheduled, unless they hear from us before the course starts.
3. Entry requirements are specified in the course descriptions.
4. Successful applicants will be notified of the result as soon as possible after the closing date for application.
5. APSTI reserves the right to cancel a course or a programme in cases of insufficient enrolment or unforeseen difficulties arising from mounting the course.
6. The Director may, at his discretion, refuse to admit an applicant.

Enrolment

1. Complete the Application for Enrolment Form and bring or post the completed form(s), together with the appropriate course fee(s) in the form of a crossed cheque or bank draft made payable to 'Asian Professional Security Training Institute' and any required supporting documents to APSTI Training Centre.
2. Please specify the programme or course title(s) for application, student's name on the back of the cheque or bank draft.

Notes

1. Fees paid are not refundable except under very exceptional circumstances, subject to the APSTI's discretion.
2. Fees and places on courses cannot be transferred from one applicant to another. Once accepted onto a course, the student may not change to another course without approval from APSTI.
3. Receipts will be issued for fees paid but APSTI will not be responsible for any loss of receipt sent by mail.

Bad Weather Arrangement

• If Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is in force during the following time periods, or
• When an announcement is made by the Hong Kong Observatory that the Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 or above is likely to be issued during the following time periods, classes will be cancelled as indicated
